Leicester Travel Guide
Edit This The best resource for sights, hotels, restaurants, bars, what to do and see
At first sight one of those industrial cities again, seriously damaged during the war and a everything but booming industrial life. However, the city has some interesting museums, quite a nice nightlife scene and a colourful Asian area. The city was founded in Roman times and some of the Roman ruins can be visited. If you've had it, York and Birmingham can be easily reached by either bus or train.
