| The normal end point is the small town of Yangshuo,
where you can rent bicycles to ride through the countryside. For most
western tourist Yangshuo is a better place to stay than Guilin itself. The
beauty of the limestone crags is also found within Guilin itself. Visit the
Seven Star Park which has caves and a zoo (more pandas). Guilin is said to
be founded in 214 BC. The best season to visit is autumn. The town itself is
not developed, but it's modern, clean and organized, and a good place to
spend a day exploring several smaller hills within its boundaries. You can

There're more than 30 interesting sights including "Pines in the Snow", "Mushroom Hill", "Dragon Pagoda", "Sky-Scraping Twin", "Virgin Forests", "Red Curtain" and "Flying Waterfalls". Xiangbi Shan (Elephant Trunk Hill) Edit This As one of the most famous hills in Guilin, Xiangbi Shan once appeared on Renminbi (Chinese currency) back-note. Lying at the confluence of Lijiang River and Yangjiang River, the hill in the southern part of town leans out into the Li River like the trunk of an elephant. There are many flights from Guangzhou to Guilin each day. From Thailand to Guilin: There are now regular non-stop flights from Bangkok to Guilin with Bangkok air. The flights depart on Wednesday, Friday and Sundays. The flight number is PG618 departing at 13:10 and arriving at 16:50. 2. From Australia or New Zealand You can take flight to Hong Kong, Shanghai or Guangzhou first then take transmitting flight to Guilin. The latest flight from Shanghai to Guilin is about 16:30 PM. From European and American countries You can take flight to Shanghai,Beijing or Hong Kong first, then take transmitting flights to Guilin. It is always convenient coming from Hong Kong and there are two flights from Hong Kong to Guilin everyday. You can book the tickets easily from all over the world.
