to www.sonymusic.com.au I Just Wanna Live
'I Just Wanna Live' is the second awesome single from
Good Charlotte's #1 album 'The Chronicles Of Life And
Death' and already this string and hip-hop loaded new-wave
roof-raiser is burning up at radio, both here in Oz and
internationally (it was the #1 most added song to our
airwaves on release to media!).
This cool single package includes the hysterical video
for 'I Just Wanna Live' - directed by Brett Simon (Hoobastank,
the Killers) and featuring Good Charlotte as a band
called The Food Group, taking the p*** out of themselves
and their 'rockstar' status - PLUS two rare B-sides, 'S.O.S'
and 'The World Is Black', recorded live at GC's recent
AOL Sessions.
Without a doubt the centrepiece of GC's latest LP, the
completely addictive and tongue-in-cheek 'I Just Wanna
Live' is shaping up as one of summer's biggest anthems
and one song that's set to go off live when the band rip
into Oz for a national tour next month! See tours for
more info.

One of the biggest rock forces in the world right now,
international megastars Good Charlotte prove that a
little soul searching never goes astray with their new
full-length album 'The Chronicles Of Life And Death'.
Darker, more dynamic and in the words of Benji Madden,
their "most personal album yet", Good Charlotte
blaze their way through their third studio album in
amazing form, still retaining their GC melodic charm, but
showing an edgy new evolution in their sound.
With producer extraordinaire Eric Valentine ('The Young
And The Hopeless') on side once again, Good Charlotte
have stripped off the pop-punk shackles and delivered a
more straightforward rock album, incorporating elements
of hip hop, classic rock, strings and introspective
lyrics for what could very easily be their best record to
date.
With it's killer spitfire spoken word bridge, first
single 'Predictable' has already thrust the guys back
into the limelight.
And as if a new album wasn't enough, GC have gone the
extra mile for fans to unleash 'The Chronicles Of Life
And Death' as two different versions, with different
closing tracks. Both the Life version and Death version
have different artwork (designed by Benji), with the 15th
track on Life being 'Falling Away' while the 15th track
on Death is 'Meet My Maker'.
Expect all hell to break loose when Good Charlotte arrive
in town next week for a promo tour of Oz in support of
the album, that will include a box rockin' performance of
'Predictable' on Rove [Live].
The wait is over, Good Charlotte are back big time!!
