Features the girls Juliette, Chrissie, Simone and Casey from the afternoon teen show Girl TV - Channel 7.

GIRL TV is a daily magazine television show designed for girls, by girls. The show is hosted by Simone, Juliette, Casey and Chrissie four teenage girls, just like you, who also happen to be a singing group. Not only do the girls sing together but they also hang out together - they talk, they laugh, and they discuss and debate. GIRL TV gives Australian girls a voice and takes the time to explore the topics and issues that really matter in daily teen life.

The girls delve into all the stuff that rocks your world: celebrity interviews, reviewing the hottest films, talking through problems, checking out the cool shops, and hitting the streets to hear what you have to say.

It?s not just the easy stuff, though. The girls dive into topics at the deep end as well, tackling issues that are relevant to a girl?s daily life - school, boys, family, personal development.

At the core of GIRL TV is the belief that girls can do anything. It?s about empowering girls inspiring and encouraging every girl to get out there, experience life, and have some fun doing it!

GIRL TV is a Southern Star Endemol production for the Seven Network.

GIRL PROFILES

CHRISSIE
Chrissie is 18 years old and her favourite colour is pink, her favourite food is schnitzel and she adores frangipanis. She has also just got her drivers licence!

Chrissie's gorgeous looks come from her Chinese father and Australian mother. Chrissie lives with her Mum, Dad, younger sister Joey and two dogs Mollie and Coco.

Not only has she has been blessed with an angelic voice but Chrissie can shake up the dance floor like no one else. Like most babes Chrissie loves hanging out with her friends, going to the beach and shopping. "Friends are there to have fun with and help you through the hard times" says Chrissie.

She is no stranger to our television screens as she has appeared in a variety of commercials over the past couple of years. Chrissie dreams of being a successful entertainer and her idol is Nicole Kidman because she is a wonderful actor, knows how to present herself and a great ambassador for Australia.

Chrissie is eight years older than her sister and her most memorable moment in life was being present at her sister Joey?s birth. "What an amazing moment" she says. Although there is a large age gap, she and her sister Joey are very close.

Chrissie reckons the best thing about being a girl is that you get to enjoy fashion and you can wear just about anything. She loves the outfits she gets to wear on "Girl TV" but she also loves meeting so many new people and finding out what they?re up to. That's what makes "Girl TV" so much fun!

CASEY
15 year old Casey is the youngest of the presenters on "Girl TV". She has an outgoing nature, winning smile and dimples to match. She is a natural, spontaneous girl who likes to have fun at all times.

Casey lives with her parents and two fish Spencer and Troy.

She loves all types of music and has a sensational singing voice. It was her voice that led to her being cast in the musical "Annie" over 3 years ago. This experience really sparked her love of performing and she has gone on to appear in numerous commercials and films. Casey hopes to continue as a performer throughout her life although her main goal is just to enjoy her life, whatever she does.

Although Casey loves to party, she also enjoys having lazy nights in and watching movies with her girl friends. The qualities that Casey values most highly in her friends are a good sense of humour and loyalty.

Casey also plays the guitar and loves gadgets like computers. Her diverse interests and lively interview technique is a winning combination for "Girl TV".

Casey's one piece of advice to all girls out there is to "live life to the max" and she is certainly taking her own advice!

JULIETTE
Juliette is a 16 year old cool surfer chick who lives right on the beach. She speaks fluent French, has travelled extensively and says mangos are her favourite food. She loves hanging out with her friends at the beach and when she's not riding the waves Juliette likes to chill out by listening to music. She adores all types of music but is particularly interested in the "indie" music scene and enjoys seeing up and coming bands.

She has 4 pet cockatiels; Bastille, Cinnamon, Pepper and Ginger. They are all very tame and Juliette even raised one of the birds as a baby feeding it with a syringe. Her birds are part of the family and she is currently helping her brother build an aviary in the backyard so the birds can have a big new home.

And she wouldn't be a girl without loving clothes and fashion and she's admitted this is what she spends all of her pocket money on!

Juliette loves being a part of "Girl TV" and her favourite aspect of the show is interviewing celebrities. With her dry sense of humour and infectious laugh she puts guests at ease. "Girl TV" showcases her easy-going "beach girl" style and although she has a secret ambition of becoming a pro-surfer, she is more than happy to light up our tv screens for the moment.

SIMONE
Simone is 19 and has just deferred Uni for a year to concentrate on Girl TV. She lives with her parents and her pet rabbit Malibu and cocker spaniel Romeo.

Simone has travelled extensively and is obsessed with all things Italian after visiting the country twice. During her stay in Italy she tried all types of food but decided her favourite dish was gnocci boscaola which is a potato pasta with a creamy mushroom and bacon sauce. She orders this whenever it's on the menu as it reminds her of the country she fell in love with.

Simone is a very active girl. She is an amazing skier and has been going to the snow since she was two years old. She has also been singing and dancing for years and her favourite performer is Christina Aguelera because she?s so versatile. Simone agrees with Christina's message to other girls - to have a go and not to let other people try and change you.

Her best friend is her sister Jacki who is 14 months older than her. "We are incredibly close, I can tell Jacki anything and she understands - she also makes me laugh" says Simone.

Simone is a great believer in fate. "Things happen for a reason" she says. She loves hosting "Girl TV" and believes this is where she is meant to be. "There is so much variety - one minute you're recording a song, next you're doing a film clip then next you're interviewing someone famous - it's such a ride".
