Inside one can see and learn everything about late-medieval and 18th century life in a castle. Celles is also the village where the allied troops stopped the Germans during the Battle of the Ardennes in January 1945. The combination of beautiful flower beds and running water (without any mechanical aid) make these gardens to some of the most wonderful in Europe. The gardens can be visited from April to end October, daily from 9.30 am till 6.30 pm.
