Temples of Gupt Ganga, Vasuki Nag, Atalgarh, Bhadrakali, Chinot, Laxminarayan and Durga Devi. 2. Bhadarwah Fort, Walk through Parla Bazar, Govt.Degree College and onwards to Ghatha and Fish Pond. 3. The Grassy Meadows of Jai and Chinta. 4. Ashapati Glacier. 5. The Villeges of Sertingal, Nalthi and Paneja. 6. Trek to Mount Kailash during August ( 16500 FT.) The trek is easy and requires no training for trekking. Horses and Porters are available. 7. Natural Springs and rivers of Bhadarwah. 8. Step Farming: Still Old method of farming is used e.g. ploughing by bulls, carrying paddy plants on big baskets tied at the back of the farmers, etc. 9. Till today in some places the running water of rivers is used to transport wooden logs from one place to another. 10. From Jammu to Bhadarwah is about 200 Km. It takes around 8 hours to reach there. You can also choose among private buses, J&K state road transport buses and private summo’s. One thing to note that almost all the buses to Bhadarwah leaves Jammu by 8:40 am. So the best idea would be to reach the Bus Stand around 6:40 to 7:00 am and book the ticket with the travel agent. On the Way to Bhadarwah: The journey to Bhadarwah is entertaining and thrilling. The Journey can be broken into to four Logical Parts. Each part the journey has its unique features: - Jammu to Udhampur; - Udhampur to Batote (via World famous Patni Top, the highest point in the journey); - Batote to Pull Doda; - Pull Doda to Bhadarwah. Please note: From 2006 train is available from New Delhi to Udhampur also. The journey from Udhampur to Bhadarwah takes around 5-6 hrs. _________Day Trips Edit This If you enjoy the nature, natural spings, flowing rivers, wish to have bath in natural springs and rivers, enjoy easy treks, villege life, walk in dense forests of deodar and pine trees, watching mountains to the height of 16000 ft., then Bhadarwah is the destination for you.
